I had my first taste of the wine industry was when I was 16 beginning work as a "glassy" at Peter Lehmanns in 2009. I challenged myself straight out of High School and moved to adelaide in 2011 to begin university while still working at Peter Lehmanns in the Barossa as well as a pub I lived close to.
Long story short I fell homesick (AKA I missed my mum) after 10 months in the city and moved back home in 2012 to persue my love for wine. In November 2012, after a couple of wine-related jobs, I scored my role here, then-called "Ross Estate Wines". And now in 2014 I wouldn't have it any other way. Hemera Estate is a wonderful business to work for who makes absolutely mind-blowing wines that I am proud to sell.
When I'm not selling wine I like to paint, socialize at various local and Adelaide venues or travel to somewhere I've never been before.
